After reading some article recently about how business owners don’t understand a lot of the fundamental concepts of search engine marketing, and also having a few people ask me questions that they said they were afraid to ask because they thought it was stupid, I thought I would make an effort to lay out some basic definitions for people so they can learn from themselves. I will try to expand this over time, as I have time to add to it in coming weeks.

I know a lot of people are afraid to ask, but I want everyone to understand this stuff so they can make more educated and better business decisions with it. Search engine marketing is one of the most effective methods of marketing. You are getting yourself in front of potential customers at the exact moment they are openly searching for help and what you offer. What other method offers that. It can just be so confusing how it works and so many people either use underhanded tactics to scam people, or are just ignorant themselves, and actually think they are helping, but are only covering the absolute basics.
