Rocktoberfeast is a really cool event put on by The Local Fix Foundation to help raise money for Move for Hunger, another great charity that took such a simple idea and made it into a national force. It is definitely worth checking out those websites and learning more about what they do.

I love to lend a hand to help the community. I have been a member of Rotary International for years where the motto is “Service Above Self“. Rotary often connects with other local charities to help the community. This particular event isn’t connected to Rotary, but I believe still does a great job of holding up that concept.  Even better, they are able to serve through a fun and music-filled afternoon at one of the more hallowed grounds in all of music, The Stone Pony. in Asbury Park. It is a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids and enjoy some great bands. Come on out on Sunday, October 16th.

Check out the great list of bands below:

Beer:

Twin Lights Brewing has made a ROCKTOBERFEAST – Harvest Ale for the event every year. The beer will be sold at the event and proceeds from those sales go directly to the fundraising efforts! In addition to that, Twin Lights has this beer available in their taproom! I would encourage you to pay a visit between now and then, bring your friends and try it for yourselves! Once it sells out, it’s done for this year! There is also a “scan and jam” feature on each of the cans where there is a Spotify playlist with this year’s lineup! I encourage you to follow / like and LISTEN to this playlist 🙂
