This past Friday I had the honor of speaking to the Perkolator Breakfast group.  This breakfast is held each Friday in Eatontown at the All Seasons Diner and organized by the Monmouth Regional Chamber of Commerce.  It is a great group for business networking and they asked me to “shine a light” on search engine marketing.

I talked extensively about changes in Google Adwords and the rules of SEO in 2017. It has been a year with a tremendous amount of change that has unfortunately taken a lot of small business owners by surprise. Technical issues related to WordPress sites and short content that hasn’t been thought about since you put your site up may have suddenly led to our site apparently disappearing from search and your phones to stop ringing. Luckily, I have been through it all over the 10+  years I have been doing SEO and I can figure out what may have caused your issues.

I like to speak to groups of business owners to help them understand and adapt to what Google throws at them. Google is updating their algorithms constantly and every once in a while an update will cause ripples through certain industries or business types. This year this happened with small business. Special thank you’s to David Sokoler of Merandex and Tara Demyanovich of Outside the Box Gift for capturing those pictures for me.

If you would like me to speak to your business group or would like one of the best in the industry help you stand out in search and adapt to everything that Google throws at you, please give me a call. That is what I’m here for.
