New York and Philly sports fans, don’t hold it against me. I’m still here to help you with search engine and digital marketing, but I recently was able to work with Dejan Kovacevic of DK Pittsburgh Sports to help combine my passion for Pittsburgh area sports teams like the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates, and even Penn State, with my passion for SEO. Please check him out because I was a subscriber before connecting with Dejan for SEO. I truly believe they provide the best coverage of sports from that area and are doing amazing things that haven’t been done before at a very affordable subscription rate.
Working with Dejan has been a great experience and seeing how he rolls up his sleeves and takes part in all aspects of his business. It is also pretty cool to be reading up on a story of the latest Pirates win and see my own ad show up. I love helping all types of businesses improve their standing in search, but it is especially cool when it is in a market you search in in your spare time too. They have already done a great job over at DK Pittsburgh Sports of providing what I think is the best news in their market. I just need to help them show up better to those that are searching and haven’t made the same discovery that I did already.
If you are a fan of any of the teams from that area, please take a look and send your friends. They have a daily online radio show, a “Morning Java” segment updating the latest news each day in a few digestible minutes, and great subscriber meet up events both in Pittsburgh and on the road when teams play out of town.
Coverage includes but is not limited to:
- Steelers
- Penguins
- Pirates
- Riverhounds
- Penn State
- Pitt
- Duquesne
- Rober Morris
My alma mater, the Carnegie Mellon Tartans, doesn’t tend to crack the sports headlines in Pittsburgh all that often, but if you like any or all of these teams, the site is definitely worth checking out. I’m excited to be working with them. A big site like this takes a lot of work to keep clean and keep Google happy.
Maybe I’ll see you at the next game.
